Startup process (Once off)
- You register on our website/app
- We use the registration information to setup a roster or we collect when your bags are full and you request collection.
- We supply a stand for the 1m³ Bags, set in an area that is accessible by crane truck.
- We supply the actual bags (number of bags depends on the number of horses) and replace them once we have done a collection.
- We ask you not to add other waste to these bags i.e. garden waste, rocks, veterinary products etc. These additional products cause damage to our equipment.
Approval
Your registration on the website/App is immediately approved and you are able to request a collection.
One of our manure collection and logistics adminsitration team will be in contact regarding bags and stands where necessary.
Collection process
- A driver, with a suitable truck, will collect material on a schedule, for bigger yards and on request from smaller yards.
- BIG BAGS – If the material is in big 1m³ bags, we use the crane on the truck to lift bags. The size of this bag is 1m X 1m X 1m and we estimate that one horse should fill this bag in a week.
- FEED BAGS – If material is in feed bags, we ask that your grooms assist in emptying the bags into the tipper truck.
- LOOSE MATERIAL – If material is loose in your yard, we will need to arrange a Bobcat to collect. (we only do these type of collections with prior arrangement)
What we collect
We collect horse manure and stable bedding. Please make sure that it is solely manure and stable waste in our bags. We do not use garden waste or other garden refuse in our processes at all. So please assist us and do not add other waste material to the bags. Specifically do not add Garden Waste, Rocks and stones, veterinary waste
We do have use for kraal manure and chicken manure. Please contact us should you want collection on these types of manure.
